The world keeps rushing forward, but I don’t have to. And neither do you. My sculptures and illustrations are like a quiet breath—Small reminders of the peace, hope, comfort, and courage that nature brings us.
Each piece is handmade, carrying the whispers of the forest, the murmur of the sea, and the deep connection I feel to everything around me. I want to share that with you.
Take a look around—maybe one of these pieces is meant to find a home with you.

Minja K.
About me
I am Minja Kolehmainen, artist and cabinetmaker. I create high-quality wooden sculptures, illustrations, and installations for interior spaces. I live a minimalist nomadic lifestyle in my mobile home, known as Minja & Mobile Workshop. I built my own workshop and home inside a charming camper van, and since 2021, I have been carving throughout Finland and Europe. This minimalist way of living has taught me humility and gratitude – most often, I find myself by the sea or deep in the forest, where nature and animals inspire me every day.
I have worked with wood for over 15 years, and my education and long experience as a fine woodworker are reflected in every piece I create: quality, durability, and deep respect for the material are at the heart of my work.
Currently, I am based in Finland and will be opening my own pop-up gallery and workshop in Fiskars Village on May 3, 2025.
